Colostrum Oral Gel is a nutritional product for newborn goats, which contains a source of live (viable) naturally occurring microorganisms, dried colostrum milk and vitamins. The colostrum provided in Colostrum Gel supplies a source of maternal antibodies and protein. Lactobacillus organisms contained in this product assist in the establishment of beneficial microflora in the newborn. L.acid excreted by these organisms will influence pH reduction in the small intestine. This action removes the environment needed by certain coliform bacteria to proliferate and perhaps cause disease. The newborn receives a generous supply of highly absorbable, essential vitamins and trace minerals, which are necessary for the establishment of good health. Oral Gel contains 200 million CFU lactic acid bacteria, plus vitamins A, D3, E and B12. Directions: 10 ml as soon as possible after birth, repeat on days 2 and 3.
